On November 26 2007 I gave birth to a little Girl! I consider myself a lucky girl! I now have my pair. Her name is Summer. Yes, Yes, Yes as in the season. News Flash!

THURSDAY, August 2 (BabyCenter News) — Fisher-Price, owned by toy company Mattel, has announced a recall of nearly 1 million Sesame Street, Dora, Diego, and other children's toys in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Surface paints on the recalled products contain lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause serious health effects. The recall comes on the heels of an identical problem with 1.5 million Thomas the Tank Engine toys announced in June. Those, too, were decorated with paints found to contain lead.

The recalled Fisher-Price toys were manufactured between April 19, 2007, and July 6, 2007. All are marked with the name "Fisher-Price" and some are marked with a date code between 109-7LF and 187-7LF (on the toy itself or its packaging). The toys were sold alone or as part of sets, and include such well-known characters as Elmo, Cookie Monster, Dora, and Diego. The model names and product numbers are listed below.

The recalled toys were sold at retail stores nationwide from May 2007 through August 2007 for between $5 and $40 apiece. They were made in China.
